  1. 2 tablespoons olive oil
  2. 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  3. 1 teaspoon chilli flakes
  4. 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  5. 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  6. 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  7. 1.5kg Coles Pork BBQ Ribs
  8. 400g pkt Coles American BBQ Slaw Kit
  9. 1 brown onion, finely chopped
  10. 400g can cherry tomatoes
  11. 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  12. 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  13. 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  14. 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

The instruction how to make Southern BBQ red meat ribs

  1. Preheat a blanketed barbeque on medium (as an alternative, preheat oven to 160C). Combine oil, paprika, chilli, garlic salt, brown sugar and dried oregano in a shallow ceramic dish. Add ribs and rub to coat. Place ribs in a coated disposable baking dish. Cover with foil. Cook in protected fish fry using indirect heat, or in oven, for 1 hour. Remove foil. Cook for a similarly 1 hour.
  2. Meanwhile, to make the BBQ sauce, integrate the onion, tomatoes, garlic, sugar, vinegar and Worcestershire sauce in a medium saucepan. Bring to the boil over medium warmth. Reduce heat to low and simmer, exposed, for 20 mins or till thickened. Set aside to cool barely. Transfer onion aggregate to a blender or food processor. Blend or process until clean.
  3. Brush half the BBQ sauce over the ribs inside the tray. Cook for 1 hour or until meat is tender.
  4. Prepare the salad package following packet guidelines. Serve the ribs with the ultimate BBQ sauce and salad.
