- 2 x 307g packets chocolate bar variety mix
- 2 1/four cups self-elevating flour
- half cup Dutch-processed cocoa
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup brown sugar
- three eggs, gently overwhelmed
- half cup vegetable oil
- 300g bitter cream
- half cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/four cup thickened cream, whipped
- Salted caramel sauce, to serve
- Cocoa powder, to serve
The instruction how to make One-bowl chocolate bar surprise cake
- Preheat oven to 180C/160C fan-forced. Grease and line base and aspects of a 6cm-deep, 22cm spherical cake pan.
- Unwrap candies. Whisk flour, cocoa, baking powder and sugar in a big bowl. Make a well in the centre. Add eggs, oil, sour cream, vanilla and milk. Stir till nearly mixed. Add half of the sweets. Stir until simply mixed.
- Pour into organized pan. Level top. Bake for 1 hour to 1 hour 10 mins or till a skewer inserted into the centre of the cake comes out with a moist crumbs clinging. Cool 10 minutes. Transfer to a cord rack to chill.
- Make Chocolate Ganache. Heat cream in small saucepan till just warm. Add milk chocolate. Stand 2 mins. Stir until easy. Cool 20 minutes.
- Trim top of cake to degree. Place cake, cut-aspect down, on a serving platter. Spread pinnacle of cake with ganache allowing it to drip down the perimeters. Top with halved ultimate chocolates, except m&ms. Spoon cream into a piping bag outfitted with a 1cm fluted nozzle. Pipe cream round top edge of cake. Drizzle with caramel sauce. Dust with cocoa powder. Serve.
