- 1kg parsnips, peeled, trimmed
- 300ml cream
The instruction how to make Creamy parsnip mash
- Cut parsnips in half of lengthways. Remove cores. Cut into 4cm portions.
- Place parsnips into a saucepan. Cover with cold water. Bring to the boil over excessive warmth. Reduce warmth to medium. Simmer for 15 minutes or until just gentle. Drain.
- Return parsnips to saucepan over low warmth. Shake pan gently till any last water evaporates. Add cream, and salt and pepper. Cook over low warmth, stirring, for 15 mins or till a mash forms. Season with salt and pepper. Serve.
